From antique toys to internationally acclaimed scale models: the story of Weise Toys.

Weise Toys specializes in high-quality scale models and exclusive collectibles for collectors worldwide. With over 40 years of experience in antique toys and model vehicles, the brand is known for its precise craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.

Our history.

The foundation of Weise Toys lies with Manfred Weise, who was active in the antique toy trade for over four decades. His expertise began with tin toys from brands such as Arnold and Zeuke, and later expanded to model cars in 1:87 and 1:43 scale, including Corgi Toys, Dinky Toys, and Siku.

In 2007, he founded his own brand: Weise Toys. Over the following years, the brand grew into an internationally recognized name in the world of high-quality scale models and collectibles.

Launch of our first collectible model.

From 1991 to 2009, Manfred Weise, together with Dr. Wilfried Raschke, published the reference work for Siku collectors, the Siku Collector’s Catalogue “RAWE.” By the late 1990s, it became increasingly difficult to find high-quality toys from the 1950s and 1960s. At the same time, interest grew among younger collectors in prototype scale models of vehicles, fully finished and detailed.

From 2003 to 2008, Manfred produced special promotional models in limited editions, based on the Siku Farmer series and Universal Hobbies tractors. These scale models are distinguished by extreme precision in optical and technical details, perfectly tailored to collectors who value quality.

This experience laid the foundation for his own brand. On November 11, 2007, he launched the first proprietary collectible model under the Weise Toys brand at Agritechnica in Hannover, in 1:32 scale, with particular attention to technical accuracy and realistic finishing.

Focus on high-quality miniatures.

In contact with collectors, Manfred continuously explored which models were desired. The focus was primarily on vehicles from the 1970s to 2000s, so-called “youngtimers,” which were previously missing from the market. This allowed Weise Toys to establish itself over the past 15 years as a reliable brand in the market for high-quality scale models and collectibles.

Acquisition by Holland Oto.

In 2021, Manfred Weise withdrew from operational activities and transferred the brand to Bram Sevens, CEO of Holland Oto B.V. Since then, the legacy of Manfred Weise has continued under the name Weise Toys Collectibles, combined with new creative ideas.
